Indian network Big FM’s RJ Miruthula has been recognised as the ‘Best Female RJ of the Year 2016’ by Tamil magazine Ananda Vikatan.

She hosts the popular weekday show ‘Ulley Veliye’ from 11 am to 2 pm and ‘Timepass’ on Sundays from 12 noon to 2 pm.

'Ulley Veliye' is an interactive game show, while 'Timepass' is dedicated to foodies who they talk about Chennai's favorite joints and places to visit. 

A spokesperson from Big FM said: “RJ Miruthala has done justice to both our shows with her happy go lucky nature and soothing voice. We are proud of her achievements.”

Speaking on the achievement, RJ Miruthula said: “Being felicitated with such a huge honor is extremely humbling, and a very important moment in my career as an RJ. This is indeed a proud moment for me and I would like to thank all my listeners for their unconditional love and support.”
