Symphony 924’s Young Talents Project returns for the 7th year

Mediacorp Singapore’s classical music station Symphony 92.4 is back with the seventh edition of its  Young Talents Project.

The contest is in search for Singapore’s next classical musical prodigy.

Since its launch in 2012, it has evolved into a platform for Singapore’s young musicians to showcase their talents as well as promoting the arts from a young age.

Last year’s competition saw the highest number of registration and the top 10 performed to a sold-out concert hall.

Registration for the search is open till May 13 under two categories: Junior category for musicians or vocalists aged 7 to 12 years and Senior category for musicians or vocalists aged 13 to 17 years

10 finalists will be selected after two rounds of judging to perform to a live audience at the historical Victoria Concert Hall and will be featured on national television and radio.

The overall grand winner will win cash and a specially curated cultural trip to Paris.
