Malaysia’s Suria FM has signed up a new co-host for ‘Cerai Pagi Sabah’ – the breakfast show in Sabah.

From now on, current host Farish Aziz will be joined by well-known singer Dudu on the show which airs weekdays 6 am to 10 am.

Despite being paired up for the first time, Farish and Dudu clicked instantly on and off air, according to the station.

Suria FM bosses hope the double-act will boost listenership.

According to Suria FM’s Operation Manager, Stanislaus KK: “Farish and Dudu are have the personality and experience that will reach out to a wider group of listeners in Sabah.”

Commenting on the new pairing, Farish said: “Having chemistry while hosting the show is important as it translates on air and listeners can sense it. Although I have known Dudu for years, this is the first time we are working together and sustaining the chemistry is vital.”

“I am glad to be given the opportunity to host Ceria Pagi Sabah with Farish. I believe that Farish and I will make a great team,” said Dudu.
