Flagship AM radio station of GMA Network, Phillipines’ Super Radyo DZBB 594, has spiced up it content with three new programmes.

Known for their casual and light news presentation, the double-act Arnold “Igan” Clavio and Ali Sotto’s host ‘Dobol A Sa Dobol B’ weekdays 10 to 11 am.

According to Sotto: “It is essentially political satire. You will see the humor in the situation, however dire it may be, which is what the Filipinos are all about”

The two other new DZBB programs are ‘Easy Easy Lang’ and ‘The Long Tall Howard Show’.

‘Easy Easy Lang’ airs weekdays 11 am to noon where a variety of health, wellness, and social issues are tackled by veteran TV/Radio anchors Susan Enriquez and Lala Roque.

‘The Long Tall Howard Show’ is anchored by pioneering radio personality Howard Medina, treating listeners to select hits from the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s on weekdays from 1 to 2.30 pm.

In a statement issued by GMA, DZBB News Operations Manager Norie Temblor said: “It is just the beginning. There will be more new programs in the next few months. Exciting times indeed for DZBB and for Philippine Radio.”
