Radio City Delhi’s Breakfast Show anchor Simran Kohli has quit the station after almost seven years.
Known on air by just her first name, Simran hosts Dhinchak Mornings from 7-11am.
One of the city’s most famous radio jockeys, Kohli started her career with public broadcaster All India Radio before jumping aboard the then nascent private radio industry.
Her career has included stints at Red FM where she was Creative Head as well as Breakfast Show RJ, Radio Mirchi (Programming Head) and BIG FM.
Kohli is the also author of the handbook ‘Understanding Radio’.
When contacted by Asia Radio Today, Kohli refused to disclose where she will be heading next.
She will do her last show next month.
