Thai brides-to-be are applying in their droves for the second Running of The Brides race, organised by Bangkok station Eazy FM 105.5.

The station is recruiting 40 women who are prepared to turn upon race day in their full wedding gown and running shoes.

The ladies will be competing to win an unforgettable wedding worth more than US$32,000 (over 1 million Thai Baht).

The prize includes a pre-wedding photo shoot, a honeymoon in the Maldives, wedding outfits for the bride and groom, jewellery, and a wedding reception at Dusit Thani Hotel Bangkok.

As you might expect, to win the prize, they have to win the roughly 600 metre race.

To register, brides-to-be need to post a photo of themselves posing with their fiance to the Eazy FM website before November 29.

Eazy FM is one of two stations owned by BEC-TERO Radio, a subsidiary of the large BEC-TERO media group.
