RCS Australia appoints new GM

Mike Crothers is the new General Manager at the Sydney office of RCS, the world’s largest broadcast software company.

Crothers is currently Head of Digital Technology at Southern Cross Austereo in Sydney.

He has an MSc in Information Management, a bachelor’s degree in Modern History, a Diploma in Project Management and is a Microsoft MCSA.

The position of General manager opened up after Chris Bean was promoted to Vice President of IT at RCS HQ in New York and follows the recent appointment of Keith Williams as RCS Vice President, Asia Pacific.

Speaking on the appointment, Williams said: “Mike’s technical qualifications and management skills along with his extensive radio experience working with our products are the perfect match to lead RCS Australia into the future.”

Crothers, who takes up his new role on August 25, commented: “I have worked with RCS and their products for years so the opportunity of applying my knowledge and learning new skills while managing a great company I find challenging and exciting.”
