Radiodays Asia 2020: First speakers announced

First speakers for the second edition of Radiodays Asia have been announced.

The event, specially created for Asian market, was held last year in August and was attended by 300 radio and audio delegates, 60+ speakers and 150 companies and featured more than 40 sessions.

This year it will be held on September 2 and 3 in Kuala Lumpur and will feature some world class keynote speakers and experts from Australia, USA, Europe and India on radio content, business and podcasting.

Tom Webster is Vice President of Strategy and Marketing for Edison Research, USA. Tom has 20 years of experience researching consumer usage of technology, new media, and social networking, and is a frequent keynote speaker on podcasting trends, consumer behavior and data; reports like The Podcast Consumer and The Infinite Dial.

Valerie Geller is president of Geller Media International, USA, and a broadcast consultant working with news, talk, information and personality programming for radio. Valerie has helped stations in 31 countries develop and grow their audiences by training communicators to work more effectively.

Jamie Wood is the Sales Director of Agency with ARN Brisbane, Australia, and host of the popular Media Sales Mastery Podcast. Jamie has experience in building agency sales teams. His teams were awarded best sales achievement in Australia at the Commercial Radio awards.

Mae Mariyam Thomas is a presenter, podcaster and journalist in India. After years in radio she started her own podcast production company and her music podcast Maed in India. Currently, she is a creative producer and production head for a number of podcasts and a podcast consultant to develop audio ideas and handle production and distribution of podcasts. 

Francis Currie is an international radio consultant. Most recent he was responsible for the re-launch of Virgin UK as Group Content Director for Wireless, UK (part of Newscorp). Previously he has been PD at Heart and Magic in London.

Radiodays Asia is a 2-track 2-days event that have about 70 speakers and panelists in the extensive programme.

It focuses on the worlds of radio and podcasting with the latest trends, case studies, future predictions, strategy and the influence, threats and opportunities news technologies and platforms offer. 

With over 400 participants joining the event this is a must for radio and podcast professionals in the region.
