A radio legend and perhaps India’s oldest presenter, Ameen Sayani, is back on the airwaves with a new show on Radio City 91.1 FM.

‘Sitaron ki Jawaniyaan’ (The Youth of Stars) will air at noon every Sunday on the 20-station network and repeat from 9pm to 10pm the same night.

For his new show, the iconic announcer has dug into his rare archives and retrieved a bunch of interviews with a complete account of the lives and accomplishments of some of the most the celebrated film icons.

Speaking about the show, Ameen Sayani said: “Collating this series has been a personal accomplishment for me. It contains rare archives of my interactions with the stars who have shared interesting moments of their lives with me.”

Kartik Kalla, National Programming Head, Radio City 91.1 FM added: “Archives from that era hold a special place in our listeners’ hearts. We are sure that the unique mix of rare interactions, film songs and select dialogues will be loved by all.”

‘Sitaron ki jawaniyaan’ will be carried simultaneously across 16 stations of Radio City 91.1FM.
