Spoofing the awards that popular Indian films get through the year, Radio City’s internet portal PlanetRadioCity.com has saluted the worst in Bollywood entertainment with its Slappies 2013 awards.
Rolling out winners across many categories, the awards gave the listeners to its 20 city FM network and six online stations a chance to nominate and vote for the worst Indian film entertainers of 2013.
This year, the film ‘Besharam’ (Shameless) starring popular Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor won the ‘Movie of the Year’.
The movie was similarly panned by several movie critics upon its release in October.
Another top idol Vivek Oberoi was picked as the ‘Actor of the Year’ for his part in the crime romance film Jayanta Bhai Ki Love Story.
The award for the worst actress went to Veena Malik for her role in romantic thriller Super Model.
Besharam was singled out by Radio City listeners a second time for Worst Dance Moves during the song Ban Besharam.
