Singapore’s Power 98 FM celebrated its 20th anniversary last Friday with a birthday bash at Phuture, Zouk.
SAFRA Radio’s English lifestyle station, Power 98 FM made its debut on the airwaves in October 1994.
More than 300 guests turned up dressed in a splash of red, the station’s official colour, for the party.
The event featured station DJs who hosted different segments and mingled with listeners, clients and celebrity guests.
The party was graced by former Power 98 FM on-air personalities like Hossan Leong, Sebastian Sim, Dr D, Harry Corro and Super Mario.
Cupcakes for the party were provided by another former Power 98 FM DJ, Daniel Ong.
Twenty lucky guests also walked away as big prize winners, with prizes ranging from staycations to prized timepieces.
The station says it has big plans leading up to its 21st birthday next year with more on-air, on-site and social media engagement with listeners.
