PLUS Malaysia Bhd, the largest highway concessionaire in Malaysia, is offering traffic updates through major radio stations during the Chinese New Year rush, according The Star Online.

The company expects 1.5 million vehicles to use the North-South Expressway (NSE) each day during the four peak travel days this Chinese New Year.

During other periods, the number of vehicles travelling daily along this route is 1.3 million.

PLUS has also issued a Travel Time Advisory (TTA) advising motorists on how to plan their journey home and is giving toll rebates to those who abide by it on February 18, 21 and 22.

Traffic updates are also being provided through PLUSLine 1-800-88-0000, the PLUSTrafik Twitter service, the PLUS Mobile Apps and electronic message boards at certain locations.
