New web platform to book Indian radio ads

Indian ad agency releaseMyAd, announced the launch of its online platform www.releaseMyAd.fm, allowing businesses to advertise on 24 radio channels across 86 cities in the country.

Focusing on start-ups, the platform offers a mix of media planning, buying, jingle production and reporting services for different business categories.

The platform provides a repository of information for comparing ad rates and programming content to help choose the right station based on one’s target market.

The site, operational in beta for the last few months, has already generated nearly $50,000 of revenues (INR 2,800,000) and signed up some well known start-ups.

“With releaseMyAd.fm, our endeavour remains to effectively service thousands of businesses aspiring to promote themselves via radio, but lacking the expertise to successfully plan, develop & launch an effective radio campaign,” said Sharad Lunia, Business Head (Digital), releaseMyAd.
