New UK-based news service for intl radio

An alternative hourly news bulletin will soon be available from a team of UK journalists setting up a new company, Radio News Hub.

According to Radio Today UK, the service is aimed at English speaking radio stations around the world and will launch early in 2015.

It will provide a 60 second bulletin Monday to Friday 6am to 7pm, delivered online.

The bulletins will be available to download each hour for client stations with a dedicated IT expert on hand to offer support to stations around the clock.

Stations also have the option of adding twice daily sport, showbiz and business bulletins – along with a classified football results package on a Saturday afternoon.

Director Jamie Fletcher said: “We’re really excited about providing stations with a quality news service. We’re passionate about news and we’re passionate about radio. Our bulletins will reflect what is happening in listeners’ lives.”
