New Sales Head (Govt) for BIG FM owner

India’s Reliance Broadcast Network, which runs 92.7 BIG FM in 45 cities, has appointed a new National Sales Head – Government.

Gurudutt Jakhmola will work for both the company’s radio and television verticals.

The company says Jakhmola will work closely with Lavneesh Gupta, Reliance Broadcast Network’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) and will help streamline and structure the company’s government business.

He will also be responsible in planning and optimising the government business team for maximum efficacy, aiming to ensure national and state government campaigns are able to deliver optimally.

Jakhmola worked with telecommunications major – Hutchison Essar for five years before taking on the role of National Government Lead with American IT giant – Hewlett-Packard.  He led that function for more than nine years.

Lavneesh Gupta, COO, Reliance Broadcast Network said: “Gurudutt brings with him a multitude of skills which we believe will inculcate strong and robust mechanisms and processes for the team and also create synergy within teams to cross leverage the best practices. Above all, we are certain that it will help elevate customer experience with our brand for the government.”
