Singapore’s largest broadcaster MediaCorp has moved Isadhora Mohamed to its Malay Broadcast Division (MBD) as Programming Director from July 1.

That means she’ll lead the programming team for Malay stations Warna 92.4FM and Ria 89.7FM.

Mohamed was the Senior Programme Director at the English news and talk station 938LIVE, a role to which she was promoted last October.

She holds a Bachelors Degree in Mass Communication from RMIT and has been with MediaCorp for 22 years, having joined Warna 92.4FM in 1991 as a producer-presenter.

In 1996, she moved over to sister Malay station Ria 89.7FM to take care of promotions, before being promoted to Assistant Programme Director (APD) in 2000.

Mohamed has also hosted TV shows and has given courses on radio, news reading and broadcast journalism at the Singapore Media Academy.

A new PD for 938LIVE is expected to be announced shortly.
