Singapore drivetime jocks Justin Ang and Vernon A – aka The Muttons – are lined up to participate in MediaCorp’s inaugural Hong Bao Run.

The 987 personalities will run the eight-kilometre race alongside thousands of other Singaporeans during Lunar New Year.

Other radio jocks set to take part are Mike Casem from Class 95, Dzar Ismail from Ria 89.7FM and Jaynesh from Oli 96.8FM.

The run will begin at Nicoll Highway on February 9 following a route through Kallang to the city centre.

Organisers say the winner in both the female and male categories will receive a hong bao of S$2,888 in cash.

First runners-up will take home S$1,888 and third-place finishers S$888.

All registered participants will get to enter a lucky draw, and one of them will win an hong bao (red packet) worth S$88,888 in cash.
