Mohamed takes up Senior PD role at 938LIVE

Singapore’s largest broadcaster MediaCorp has promoted Isadhora Mohamed to the role of Senior Programme Director at its English news and talk station 938LIVE.

Mohamed has been with MediaCorp for 22 years and currently holds the same position at one of the company’s Malay stations Warna 94.2FM.

She joined Warna in 1991 as a producer-presenter, and in 1996 moved over to sister Malay station Ria 89.7FM to take care of promotions, before being promoted to Assistant Programme Director (APD) in 2000.

Three years later, she returned to Warna as APD, where she was promoted twice.

As well as radio, Mohamed has hosted TV shows and has given courses on radio, newsreading and broadcast journalism at the Singapore Media Academy.

She holds a Bachelors Degree in Mass Communication from RMIT and is currently pursuing a Master of Mass Communication at Wee Kim Wee School Of Communication and Information, Nanyang Technological University.

Mohamed replaces Joel Chua, who left last month.
