Jakarta station gears up for Gen Fest 2013

As many as 4,000 local music fans will cram in to Jakarta’s Tennis Indoor Senayan on Saturday for the sixth annual Gen Fest.

The festival was created by 987 Gen FM to support the Indonesian music industry.

The concert will feature performances from Sheila on 7, Noah, Kotak, Yovie & Nuno and Raissa as well as several international artists.

Another regular feature of Gen Fest is the range of culinary treats on sale from renowned local outlets.

Speaking ahead of the event, Gen FM Director Adrian Syarkawi said:  “We hope we can realize our wish to help Indonesian music dominate our country through Gen Fest 2013.”
