More than a 1,000 yogis and wanna-be’s joined in Singapore’s biggest ever yoga event last week, organised by the country’s largest broadcaster, MediaCorp.

Six stations including Class 95, Gold 90.5FM and Capital 95.8FM helped draw the crowd to the Padang, a field that sits in the middle of the city’s ‘Downtown Core’.

Held in association with MARIGOLD HL Milk, ‘Yoga Singapore 2014’ saw several MediaCorp personalities including Belinda Lee take part.

There were also music performances from local acts.

Yoga Singapore raised $20,000 through ticket sales which will be donated to the Osteoporosis Society (Singapore).

Participants also received a goodie-bag with a yoga mat.
