Listeners to Hong Kong’s specialist music station RTHK Radio 4 are picking the biggest cultural headlines of 2013 as part of a review of the year.

The station has set up a voting page on its website with 21 top stories.

The data will be collated to create the Top 10 Music Headlines, an idea now in its 28th year.

Listeners can also listen to the station’s coverage from the time each story broke.

Radio 4 says news worthiness is a secondary consideration and has asked voters to choose based on the stories that made the biggest cultural and academic contribution in Hong Kong

Prizes include an ipad mini, speakers, music CDs, concert tickets and magazine subscriptions.
