KL listeners showered with compliments by top models

The Top 5 finalists of America’s Next Top Model (Cycle 20) spent the day showering listeners to Malaysia’s Red FM with compliments on Kuala Lumpur’s LRT metro system.

Last week’s stunt – which saw many commuters’ fashion sense and appearances praised – was part of the station’s regular ‘Random Acts of Kindness’ feature.

Models Chris Hernandez, Cory Hindorff, Jourdan Miller, Marvin Cortes and Renee Bhagwandeen joined the station’s morning show DJs JJ and Lil Kev  for the marathon flattery session.

“This is an awesome way to show our appreciation and gratitude to people around us. Complimenting others is a noble act that is priceless and meaningful to the receivers,” said Lil Kev.

“We hope that this will set an example on the different ways that we could be nice to others. Praising others would not only make ourselves feel good but also makes others feel equally important,” he added.

“We would like to thank Red FM for giving us the opportunity to be part of this. We make ourselves feel good by making others feel better about themselves,” said model Chris Hernandez.

Red FM’s Random Act of Kindness is a monthly event where JJ and Lil Kev hit the streets to encourage listeners to ‘pay it forward’.

The feature has a strong educational message that could help to revive some of the values and practice that many feel have been long forgotten.
