Singapore’s Kiss 92 and Hot FM are going all out to win new listeners during the second radio ratings period of the year.
The Nielsen Radio Diary Survey began on September 2 and ends on October 27.
Kiss 92, which targets female listeners, rose to become the number three English station in the April/May ratings “wave”.
The station appears to be on an incredible growth path, considering it only launched last September.
For this ratings period, Kiss is offfering a S$50,000 wedding package as part of a radio reality show promotion called “Kiss 92’s Perfect Match”.
Three couples are battling it out through a series of relationship, social media, and physical challenges over five weeks.
Prizes include a $10,000 wedding reception at the luxury hotel Park Royal on Pickering, a $20,000 home renovation from Icon Interior Design, and $8,888 in cash!
HOT FM took full advantage of Justine Bieber’s concert which wrapped up last week’s Singapore Grand Prix.
The station gave away several “Bieberfest 2” meet & greets on air.
In October, Hot FM will offer One Republic tickets – for their gig at Sentosa on October 29 – around the game ‘Stop and Stare’.
The station will also launch the Hide & Seek contest later in the month to win a trip for four to Phuket, Thailand with Jetstar.
The two stations are owned by SPH Unionworks, a joint venture between Singapore Press Holdings and the country’s union federation NTUC.
