Jamie Cullum jazz show gets Asia airing

Eight stations in Asia are to take a syndicated show hosted by British jazz-pop singer Jamie Cullum.

The multi-million selling artist has presented the weekly programme on UK national station BBC Radio 2 since April 2010 where it has nearly a million listeners.

From next week, Jamie will also be heard on Singapore’s Lush 99.5FM, Swaragama FM in Indonesia, Crossover 105.1 in the Philippines, Taipei-based ICRT, CR2 Commercial Radio Hong Kong , RTHK2 Hong Kong, EZFM from China Radio International and Heart Radio 93.5 in Thailand.

The show is produced by the London-based Folded Wing and has already been syndicated to France and Canada.

Cullum was nominated for ‘Music Broadcaster of the Year’ at this year’s Sony UK Radio Awards, The Parliamentary Jazz Awards named him ‘Jazz Broadcaster of the Year’, while the New York Festivals Awards gave the show silver for ‘Best Jazz Format’ in 2012 and 2013.
