Jakarta radio jock Jodi claims he’s been single for too long.  So he’s launched an on air appeal on 101 Jak FM to find a future date – and possibly wife.

Jodi, who co-hosts the drivetime show with Vecky (weekdays 4-8pm), has called for listeners to register themselves or nominate other potential suitable matches.

To enter the ‘Jodi Mencari Cinta’ (Jodi Looking for Love) contest , women must email their bios and photos for a chance to date the popular radio DJ.

Strangely enough, his appeal follows the release of a hugely popular Indonesian film Mencari Cinta (Looking For Love) last year.

Jodi has told listeners that time is running out and also admitted that his parents told him they want grandchildren sooner rather than later.

The search for a future wife is being played out through Social Media and the station plans a YouTube video.
