98.7 Gen FM Jakarta’s streaming app has been embedded in the home menu of the brand new NokiaX.

The phone is the Finnish mobile maker’s first Android OS phone and was launched in Indonesia on March 28.

The move means that the app doesn’t have to be downloaded from the Google Play store, it will come ready loaded.

The station already has apps for Blackberry, Apple and other Android-based phones.

Station execs believe the Nokia X, a low-cost smartphone, will help drive the mass-take up of smart phones in the country, and the pre-loaded app will help deliver new online listening.
