Inaugurated  by footballer Chima Okerie, a popular city football league player and local actress Sudipta Chakraborty, the venue screened world cup matches on a giant LED screen.

Dubbing itself a ‘on-ground football festival’, the venue also offered fans a chance to participate in football matches with face painters, tattoo artists, fan zones, food and beverage stalls.

Station RJs also interacted with visitors before the live telecast began.

Commenting on the initiative, Harshad Jain – Business Head, Radio & Entertainment, HT Media Ltd told India Blooms: “Football is best lived in Kolkata. As a radio station we believe in offering the best experience to our listeners and this is another step in this direction.”
