An irate farmer in North Cotabato, Philippines, confronted a jock at Wow FM for giving a wrong weather forecast, according to local media reports.

Last Wednesday morning, presenter Arnel Guerrero broadcast a weather report predicting fair weather through the day.

Relying on the report, farmer Ever Dalida left his newly harvested palay (unmilled rice) in a solar drier.

But it rained and his crop got wet.

Later in the afternoon, Dalida landed at the Wow FM studio and berated Guerrero for giving incorrect weather information, who replied that he had just read the forecast from a website.

They almost came to exchanging blows before being restrained by station employees.

Gary Fuerzas, president of a local press association said they demanded a public apology from Dalida for what he did.
