Thailand got a new radio station at the start of September when Fabulous 102.75 FM launched on the Phuket airwaves.

The frequency was used by Thaiger 102.75 FM for nearly three years in the past, and the company will be co-marketing the new station.

Sister station of Fabulous 103 FM, Pattaya, the new station provides live daily Phuket programming and music. Fabulous is a BBC world service partner and targeted at western retirees, employees and tourists.

The mornings start at 6 am with the BBC news content until 8am when live shows kick off with Brooksy on the morning show. “The Mighty” Peter Quinn is on from noon to 3pm, then “Drive Time Dave” until 6pm. After that the station shares shows with its sister Pattaya station till Midnight.

According to owner and operator Tommy Dee Fabulous Phuket is a station designed and scheduled to keep listeners in touch with new music while enjoying the classics too.
