Dance 97.8 Dubai’s drive host passes away

Lucy Stone, host of the drive show on Dubai’s Dance 97.8 station, passed away last week in the UK.

Stone, aged 38, joined the Shock Middle East station in March 2017 as the Dance 97.8 weekend presenter.

In February 2018 she took over the drive show to become one of the stations leading presenters and authority on dance music in the UAE.  

Cameron Plant, Group MD, Shock Middle East said: “Lucy was an instrumental member of the Shock Middle East family and we are deeply saddened to hear of her passing. We will miss her energy, dedication and her commitment to radio. Lucy was very popular amongst her peers and she will be deeply missed by her friends and family.”
