Heart 107.1, UAE, announced their brand-new breakfast lineup featuring Faris Al-Raqqad and new co-host, Lorna Bancroft.

The second station launched by Shock Middle East, Heart 107.1 FM is a unique Hot Adult Contemporary (Hot AC) station in the UAE offering its listeners a variety of 90's and noughties hits throughout the day.

Faris and Lorna are now set to present the Heart breakfast show every day between 6am and 10am.

The duo's first show didn't go exactly to plan as Lorna received a shock after waking up and receiving a series of challenging clues set out by Faris before her first show even started.

However, with the help of Heart 107.1's loyal listeners, Lorna embarked on her mission and was able to crack the clues which led her finding Faris.

The challenges included ziplining across the Dubai marina, quad biking over the Al Bayider desert and even sky diving over the Palm. An exhausted Lorna, finally discovered that Faris was in fact in the studio the whole time and has promised revenge. 

Faris said: “I just felt like she needed an exciting way to be initiated into the show. Also Lorna is new to the UAE, I thought she should experience as much as possible to catch up with the rest of us….but most importantly I wanted a laugh at her expense, but hey…it builds character, and sets the tone for what this Breakfast show is all about.”

Lorna added: “What an incredible start to our first show. Even though I was exhausted after all the challenges and super terrified at times, I feel so lucky that I got to experience so many amazing activities that the UAE has to offer.”
