An event describing how to implement DAB+ Digital Radio has been organised in Turkey next month.

Planned by WorldDMB, in collaboration with Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT), the free one day workshop will take place on June 14 at the Halic Congress Centre in Istanbul.

It is also supported by Professional Union of Broadcasting Organisations (RATEM), RTÜK Radyo ve Televizyon Üst Kurulu (Radio and Television Supreme Council) and Istanbul TV Forum and Fair (iTVF).

With DAB / DAB+ extending its footprint across Europe and Asia Pacific, this workshop will provide a unique opportunity to discuss the latest developments.

Leading global industry experts will also present case studies on the rollout of digital radio from their countries.

Some of the speakers include:  Patrick Hannon, President of WorldDMB and Vice President Corporate Development at Frontier Silicon; Ole Jorgen Torvmark, CEO of Digital Radio Norway; Christian Wachter, Rohde & Schwarz.

The workshop is free to attend, but registration is required.
