CRI tickles Pakistani taste buds with Chinese Food Carnival

China Radio International has held a Chinese Food Carnival in Pakistan’s capital Isamabad to help promote good relationships between the two countries through food.

CRI, which is heard in Pakistan on the CRI-Dosti channel, brought the Chinese Cuisine Association’s chefs to Pakistan to demonstrate the cooking of the Chinese food.

Speaking at the carnival’s opening, the Chinese Ambassador said “Pakistan and China have a long history of friendship.” The food, he said reflects diversity of Chinese culture and CRI is “proud of its decades’ old efforts of promoting spirit of love and understanding” between the people of both countries.
