BIG FM India hires new South head

India’s 92.7 Big FM has picked Rajesh Mani to be its regional business head for the South.

He joins from the leading bike manufacturer TI Cycles of India.

According to local media, Mani comes from a sales, marketing and communications background.

He previously worked as General Manager of Coca-Cola before joining the now defunct groceries giant Subhiksha Retail and later VIP Industries, the world’s largest luggage maker.

He will be based in Bangalore and report to BIG’s National Head Ashwin Padmanabhan.

92.7 BIG FM runs stations in 45 cities and is owned by billionaire Anil Ambani.
