BIG FM claims leadership across four Indian metros

India’s 92.7 Big FM has the highest average share of adult listeners aged 25+ across the metros of Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai, according to the latest RAM report.

The report shows that the 45-station network has a 16.5 percent average share across four metros and also recorded the highest overall TSL of 5.14 hrs in Week 45 in Kolkata.

It was followed by Radio Mirchi with a share of 15.8 percent, Fever 104 FM with 12.2 percent and Red FM with 7.6 percent.

The station credits the success to its decision to switch to retro format and programming innovations in the mid morning and late night slots.

Speaking on the achievement, Ashwin Padmanabhan, Business Head, 92.7 BIG FM said: “Backed by research and consumer insights we have built a line-up of shows with credible hosts. With our unique and distinct positioning we reach out to the key decision makers line no other network.”
