Big FM celebrates World Heart Day

 

On the occasion of World Heart Day on Friday, Indian network 92.7 Big FM promoted the idea that music heals the heart in Bangalore.

The station’s presenters encouraged citizens to take a pledge to maintain a healthy heart during the day-long celebrations titled ‘More Music Na Tonic’.

Various well-known artists such as Mentalist Narpath, Rapper and DJ All-ok & team – Kannada's first hip hop music band, Rap Kavigalu Rapp band, singer and guitarist Prahlad Prasad, singer & composer Govind and beatboxer Nandeesh supported the initiative. 

Big FM's morning hosts Shruti and Rubina (along with the artists released heart-shaped balloons symbolically letting go off stress and pledged to maintain a healthy heart. 

Speaking about the idea MJ Shruti said: “While we connect with listeners every day and share important information for their betterment, today was a different day altogether. It was great to connect with them in real-time and share the importance of maintaining a healthy heart by adopting a nutritious lifestyle and more importantly let music heal them.”
