Increasing its commitment to markets in Asia, WideOrbit Inc – a leading provider of radio automation software among other products – has appointed AVC Group to resell and service its ‘WO Automation for Radio’ in the region.

The latest version offers operational efficiencies to radio broadcasters, says the company.

It also features centralised content creation with automatic failover redundancy, playlist creation and editing, and multi-market voice tracking with multi-station and multicasting capabilities.

More than 1000 radio stations operate on the ‘WO Automation for Radio’ platform, according to company figures.

AVC Group provides solutions for broadcasters using a select collection of products and works with many of WideOrbit’s technology partners including MusicMaster, Broadcast Bionics, Axia Audio and Stirlitz Media software.
