988 FM, Star Radio Group’s Chinese language station, has brought back personality Anson Kow to partner Chan Fong and Sam on the breakfast show ‘Morning Up’ for the second time.

Discovered by the Malaysian station in 2007 during a contest to mentor young radio announcers, Anson has co-hosted several programmes and recently took a short break from radio to do a short language course in Spain.

Anson said: “I feel honoured to co-host ‘Morning Up’ with Chan Fong and Sam. They have years of experience which I could learn from. I am glad to take up this challenge.”

Anson will replace Athena, who will now be doing the mid-afternoon show, Music Gets Crazy with Hau Min from 12.30 to 4 pm.
