Astro group’s Chinese station MY FM celebrated its 16th birthday Bash last Saturday at Setia City Park in Setia Alam, Malaysia, with 50 local and international artists.
An audience of 30,00 turned up to watch the three and a half hour show.
There were a record 50 performers this year, including artists and MY FM announcers.
They included Will Pan, Claire Guo, Jia Jia, Wang Da Wen, James Morris-Cotterill, Freya, Jess Lee, VChuan, Karen Kong, Eric Lin, Amy Wang, Athena Beh, Bell Yu Tian, Huang Qi Ming, FS Fuying & Sam, Hao Ren, Thomas & Jack, Hank, Zhou Zhou, Joyce Chu, Fyone, Stephanie, Alvin Chong, Juztin Lan, Peace Teo, Joe Chang, DJ Ken, Che Zi and Geraldine Gan.
Winners of the Astro Star Quest 2014, Uriah, Elaine, Yuii and Ron also performed.
This year, the theme was about the future, whereby the world becomes desolate and five aliens try to save the world with the help of the people from Earth.
MY FM announcers performed some dangerous stunts like riding a bicycle through a flaming hoop, breaking through wood and fighting with fire.
A team of more than 500 people worked behind the scenes to create the event.
