Do We Need More Radio Stations?

dmg says YES! Austereo, ARN and others say NO! The ABA says HUH? Maybe.

According to the no-sayers, just when radio is experiencing a revenue slump, more stations dividing an ever dwindling dollar is the last thing the industry needs. Are they showing their self-interest? Is there a moustache in Baghdad? But, are they right? Or could they use a little more competition?

What would you decide if you were ABA Chairman, Prof. David Flint? What do you reckon he will decide? And why?
