MediaCorp Singapore’s Oli 96.8FM organised its annual Mother’s Day Dinner event, Rani Maharani (Queen of Hearts) on Sunday.

More than 800 fans attended the sold-out dinner where they were treated to a night of live entertainment by their favourite Oli DJs and Vasantham artistes.

The event featured high energy performances by the Dhool VS YuthaMedai winners, T.G.I.F and runners up Mega Geniz with an explosive dance finale showcasing Oli DJs.

Along with local singing powerhouses L VIjayandran, Kalaselvi, Elamaran and Suthasini, India’s ‘Super Singer’ winners, Diwakar and Sonia also performed a variety of solos, duets and medleys.

Oli DJs presented an original comedy skit featuring the cast of Vasantham’s popular children’s drama ‘My Dearest Kudumbam’.

One of the many highlights of the night was the Rani Maharani Pageant where 10 best dressed mothers were handpicked by the Oli DJs and 55-year old Neelapathy was crowned the winner.

Special appearances by the casts of Vasantham’s popular drama series ‘Neeya’ and ‘Kshatriyan’ gave guests a chance to meet their favourite on-screen personalities in person.

A total of 21 lucky draw prizes were given away at the event where the grand prize winner walked away with a cash prize of $1000.
