DJs from Singapore’s Chinese station Y.E.S 93.3 FM and English station 987 FM were recently involved in a massive burger eating contest.

Hosts of 987’s ‘The Muttons’, DJs Justin Ang and Vernon A challenged Y.E.S. DJ Xie Jafia to finish a monster 12-inch burger in 30 minutes.

Each burger contained 1kilo of beef, 20 slices of bacon, 9 slices of cheese and 1 bowl of BBQ sauce – an equivalent of eight regular burgers put together.

Jafia, who managed to complete the challenge first – in just 25 minutes, said: “When I first saw the burger, it was really huge.  Such a size is ridiculous.”

Justin Ang, one half of The Muttons said: “We take challenges seriously. But, well done to Jiafa.  He made it.”
