Singapore’s Class 95 Fm DJ Mike Kasem made his first feature film appearance with a role in the horror film ‘Afterimages’.
According to Asia One, ‘Afterimages’ is an anthology of five short films based on urban legends, superstitions and a true story.
41-year old Kasem, who co-hosts the evening drive show ‘Cartunes’ on Class 95 with Jean Danker, features in the clip titled ‘Skin Deep’ in the film.
He plays a dentist who gets trapped in a lift in a mall along with other shoppers.
Kasem also shared his own spooky encounter while hosting ‘Cartunes’ when he and co-host Danker heard a little girl greet them in the studio, while no one else was there apart from them.
His next acting assignment will see him play a Pakistani reporter who spends time in London in the upcoming local film ‘1965’ directed by Randy Ang.
