Red FM, a private radio station that broadcasts across Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, is supporting a charity project that assists some of the victims of a recent flood that hit the city of Kuantan.

Through its Back To School Initiative, the station will be assisting families in Malaysia’s third largest state Pahang, whose parents earn less than $225 (RM 750) per month.

It is seeking much needed school funds for 7 to 12-year old children who were affected by the floods last December.

The station is also encouraging listeners to donate school uniforms, stationary, reference books, bags and shoes to these students.
