India’s Radio City has launched its own Christmas radio station.

Radio City Christmas is being streamed on the station’s multi-content portal PlanetRadiocity.

The channel, which began its month-long broadcasts on December 12, is playing classic Christmas tunes and carols.

A special section on PlanetRadiocity.com also offers specially created wall-papers and slideshows on Christmas.

As well as the season’s broad appeal, there are 24 million Christians in India, for whom the hymns and carols are expected to have special meaning.
