Thirty radio categories at NY Festivals advertising awards

Radio stations in Asia have thirty categories to pick from to enter the 2014 NY Festival Advertising Awards.

Entries opened for the internationally recognised awards on Tuesday.

Last year saw entries and judges from 70 countries; organisers are calling on more nations and territories to take part.

As well as the 30 categories for radio commercials and production, stations can enter other categories for their advertising/marketing related work including:  Branded Entertainment,  Creative Marketing Effectiveness, Design, Digital, Public & Media Relations  and Public Service.

The closing date for entries is Jan 31 2014.

International Awards Group is offering a 10 percent discount for entries received before December 16 2013 but will levy a surcharge for late entries.

For the radio categories, stations and agencies can enter single pieces or a campaign featuring up to three pieces of audio.

RA10 Entertainment & Event Promotion

RA13 Healthcare Products & Services

RA14 Home Appliances & Furnishings

RA15 Home Electronics & Audio-visual

RA16 Household Products & Services
