Creative writers in Hong Kong are being encouraged to enter the 3rd annual Top Story contest, arranged by RTHK Radio 3.

Judges from the public broadcaster and co-organiser South China Morning Post (SCMP) will decide the finalists.

The overall winners of the Top Story competition will be invited to have a consultation with a London-based fiction writer.

They will also receive return tickets on Cathay Pacific to Tokyo or Taipei.

Stories must be between 1,500 and 2,000 words, must relate in some way to Hong Kong and be centered around this year’s theme ‘Celebration.

The winning entries will also be published in SCMP and broadcast on RTHK Radio 3.
