The dates for the next Radio Asia event in Colombo, Sri Lanka have been set for May 21-23 2014.

Organised by the Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union, Radio Asia will comprise a two and half-day conference and four workshops.

More than 400 industry professionals attended the last conference in Hanoi earlier this year.

In addition to presentations, speeches and networking, The ABU Radio Song Festival will take place on May 23, showcasing music from across Asia, Australia and the Pacific.

The last song festival saw fifteen shortlisted artists invited to perform at gala finale in Seoul .

Entries to the contest will begin soon and ABU members will receive a formal invitation to participate.
