Cathinka Rondan, Head of Audio, NRK, Norway, will host a session on Moving Audiences from Linear to Digital at Radiodays Asia 2025.
Cathinka studied both theatre and law and has a Bachelor in Radio Journalism.
Her first job after studying Radio Journalism was in Children’s radio at NRK. She then went on to the youth channel NRK P3, working for ten years with the morning show, comedy shows, music and educational programs.
From 2009 she worked with culture programs, documentary and satire at NRK P2.
In 2015 she produced the award-winning podcast “Unsolved” with Rubicon and the newspaper VG. In the fall of 2019, she started in the role as Head of audio at NRK.
Norway NRK is the largest broadcaster on both radio and podcast. The NRK radio app has grown 20 percent each year the last four years.
The session, on Tuesday, September 2, at 12:20 PM, will show how industry leaders have successfully driven audience growth through digital transformation.
It will explore strategies for transitioning audiences from traditional linear media to digital platforms and discuss the challenges and opportunities of this shift, as well as best practices for engaging and retaining a digital audience.
