Yes 101 Sri Lanka’s morning show goes live from Sydney

The breakfast hosts of Sri Lanka’s English station Yes 101 FM are broadcasting from Sydney this week.

DJs Shaq and Blessie are there for the cricket World Cup match between Australia and Sri Lanka on Sunday.

There is a lot of excitement about the match as it is a crucial one for Australia after their recent loss to New Zealand in the tournament.

Shaq and Blessie are among the most popular DJs in Sri Lanka and their show ‘Yes 101 Morning Show’ airs from 7 am to 10 am in Sri Lanka.

They are broadcasting from 12.30 pm to 3.30 pm from SBS studios in Sydney to make up for the time difference between the two countries.

Shaq, whose real name is Riyaz Shah, is also the Channel head of Yes FM and Board Director of MBC, Capital Maharaja Group – which owns the station.
